What: Touch Football League - 1 scrimmage, 4 regular season games, 1 championship game

 

It’s 8-on-8, with at least 1 woman on the field.   Two-hand touch football.

 

Where: East River Park Soccer Fields - E 12th St/FDR Drive

 

When:

 

Scrimmage - Friday, October 15th 2-4PM

 

 

Draft - Late October

Game 1 - Friday, November 19th, 2-4PM

Game 2 - Friday, December 17th, 2-4PM

Game 3- Friday, January 21st, 2-4PM

Game 4- Friday, February 18th, 2-4PM

nextNY Superbowl - Friday, March 18th, 2-4PM

 

Rules:

 

• 6 points for a touchdown. Choice of 1 or 2 point conversions. No field goals

• Non-contact (NO BLOCKING), co-ed 2-hand touch football
• First downs for 2 completed passes or crossing mid-field (NEW: limit 3 first downs/possession)
o 3 First Down Limit doesn’t include penalties that lead to first downs (PI or across midfield)
• Five Mississippi rush count (Miss-i-ssi-ppi is the only rush word allowed)

- All games are RAIN or SHINE (unless dangerous conditions)
